So far in testing the EP has ran every bit as fast as IB's and has proven to be more reliable.

I can see why, yesterday a friend who had just been sent IB4200's last week from a well known matcher, had one explode in his car on the A final grid as we were chatting on the rostrum, bodyshell filled with smoke and another friend was trying to disconnect his speedos wires and realised it wasnt the speedo, just as a cell went bang. Sent red hot shrapnel out over the carpet, and burnt holes in it. And the week before someone else had an IB cell from a different matcher explode in his box on pit table.

I assume my IB4200's are ok, as ive had them close to a year.

And are these the second generation EP's you've sent to Microtech?

I'm okay, luckily I was holding one end of the pack and the cell on the end of the other exploded.

I ran the God Fathers Pizza race in Enid this last weekend. I ran mod buggy and 4wd, bumped out of the B and was as high as 5th or so but cost myself a few positions on the last corner of the last lap and ended up 8th. 4wd there were only 2 of us, so we just ran, it was good to get some laps on my wheeler on the clock. Props to Cody Hollis on his run in mod buggy as well. The kid is fast no doubt.

The SP is supposed to have a different front end geometry, comes with the aluminum front block (mandatory) comes with the bullet body, which is just much better looking the the current zx5 body. I think it also comes with the updated shock cartridges, and the middle arm conversion for the rear.

I was glad too see you get the monkey off your back and finally have a little luck this weekend. After all the bad luck you've had in Enid, it was nice to see you have a good run. Hope to see you back again soon.
