Just notched my first few weeks in my house, loving it. Im laying out a small offroad practice track in the backyard, I have all kyosho offroad cars now and no onroad lol. That and work is about it. Im looking forward to trying a few EP packs and see what the fuss is about.

Hey EA,
Do you have any tuning tips/gearing for the Core stock (1/12)? Thanks.

F brushes with red springs is where I would start. Take .010 off the trailing edge too.

Hey James,

I have not played with the motor any but I think its the same as a Reedy MVP. On those we used to take about .005-.010 off leading and trailing edge's with green springs and a 1.5mm hole in the face. The motors dont have a lot of RPM but get extremely hot. Thats the reason for the brush removal.

EA

Does the red springs and removing material from the trailing edge create more torque?

Default EP's are almost ready!

Hey Guys,

I will be working through the weekend to get the EP's done. So far they are looking great....even better than the last batch of IB cells! I should have them done on Tuesday or Wed's of next week.

No dead cells so far. The EP's do self discharge like IB's BUT they do not loose runtime as bad and do NOT go to Zero volts that I have seen. I know that Brad at Hurricane has been using them for a long time and he says that he see's just a few bad ones out of a case but after matching he doesnt seen them go to zero like IB's.

that's good to hear. Thanks again for turning me on to the TC5. This car is awesome. We start the indoor carpet season today (not racing today) so I have to get me a oneway for rubber tire carpet. We will be running 19 turn mostly all winter so that should be pretty fun. I have a set up in mind that I'd like to try for the first time out. If that doesn't work then I'll switch to what you guys were running in Vegas.
