Ok guys, newbie question i just got a Duratrax Ice and it is the first charge i have had that can break in motors. It measures amp draw but i dont know if i want i higher number or a lower one. I just trued my EA and the amp draw is about 6.8 but ihave no idea if this is good or bad.

Anyone?

Also what brush/spring combos are working on the KD's for TC? Thanks.

Hey Merf, I am not EA by any means but here's how I do things. I want my motors to pull 8 amps at 2 volts no fan. anymore and I notice the motor wont make the full 5 minutes. this is not set in stone. the old days we would get the motors pulling 12-13 amps at 2 volts. just remember that if you got an EA Motor it's going to be fast...you might have to play with your gearing to get the most out of it.

Thanks for the help. I had it backwards. I thought pulling mre amps ment it was less efficient. Now i know why i am so slow, oh wait its cause i keep hitting stuff. So th next question is how do you increase the amp draw? I cut the com and changed the brushes. At 2 amps it only pulls like 4 amps. I am sure this has been cover many times but my search ends up being to big to sort through. Thanks agin guys.
