Hi Eric,

Had the first BRCA 19t National over here this weekend. Was going to run a C2 with F-lines... until I took all the copper off the comm on sat
Unfortunatly ment I had to buy a motor trackside, and had got hold of a Team Almighty Atlas 19t. Ran it as it came to start with some drilled Eclipse brushes, was ok. When I skimmed it, switched to F's (but with the same springs, not sure what they are), much better.
Noticed that after two runs all the serrations were gone, and the motor seemed to suffer a little. Whats your tips for tune a blue atlas with F's??
Do the epic springs fit, as I have a load of thoose. And how many runs do you recommend before a brush change for one of these?
If it helps, was running at about 5.3fdr on this track http://www.wmcc.info/whome.htm (outdoor on the left), seemed spot on

Batteries performed awesome, could really notice the fact that my car seemed to stay fast for longer compared to others in my heat.

Annoyingly though, just going through my pit box today, and found a bloody spare C2 arm...

Anyway. I'm now currently sitting at 40th in the overall drivers table for the 19t class, Q'd 39th overall, finished (after two finals) 39th. Was pretty happy with the result, although I drove like a bit of a muppet in the finals (although unlucky in the first, got bumped and then rolled on the first turn ). Next national is Halifax (not till June), which is large, as it's generally a 1:8th gas track.... loooow Fdr's are coming Hopefully (if I can sort my driving out) a C-final spot should be possible.

Cheers
Ed

Default TCS...

hey EA...

just got back from the Seattle TCS. the CO27s you sent me were awesome! i had so much motor.. my carbon tub TA05 w/ tamiya B3s clicked off a 9.9 in GT2.. 10.0 in the main. (fast lap was 9.7 in a tamiya MSX with sorex tires for comparision). car set up was good.. but the MOTOR was ballistic. it made for an exciting main.. but i couldnt get an opening and settled for 2nd in GT2. thanks again for the AWESOME HORSEPOWER. (sad to say... i think its time to retire my Monster motors. )

NIce job Chris!! I have been all over the place on gearing that CO27. I think your around a 1.13" rollout so thats close to where mine was fastest as well (1.10").
Did you try other springs and what did it do to this motor?

Chris,
Your awesome! Going to a race track that you've never raced before ran a new motor that you raced for the first time and finished 2nd!
When I grow up I want to be just like you!!!
Then again..... it must have been the motor and batteries that put you in the winners podium!!
Kidding aside, I ran one of EA's CO27's and it the fastest stock motor I've ever ran and I've used EA monster motors and this motor has killer speed with lots of torque. My FDR at Tamiya is around 6.3.

Hey Eric,
not sure if you might have missed this. I know you don't stock them anymore, but need a bit of help, for future reference.
I'll be a using a C2 at the next national though... make sure you get some good ones (then again, never had a bad motor ) to Microtech
Cheers

TryHard,

I ran full-face F's with Purple (+), Red (-) springs and it was ballistic. I finished 3rd at the Region 5 Carpet Regionals this March with that setup. Didn't have any luck in the first two mains but I won the 3rd easily. I rolled it out at 1.29" for a 105 ft straight and technical layout.

Default Komodo Dragons

Hey Guys,

I'll have the New Trinity Komodo Dragon's on my site this afternoon. They wont start shipping till middle of the week though. Theres not a ton of them so dont hesitate or you might be waiting a few weeks for another one!!

Also Batteries are on the site and they are killer!! This is the best batch of IB's I have ever seen. The levels have been changed a little too. LFT packs are now 1.204+ and FT packs are 1.20-1.203. These all have killer runtime as well.
