co27
is there a nice brush/spring combo on this for indoor carpet ?? ,i will be going with F-line full face- red/red spring, 2-3 teeth more then a monster @ same venue
I thought Simon lived down the road from you Colin? You know all the money we make/made in RC we are all rich!!

Full face brush seems to work the best so far and red springs. I ended up 4 teeth over a monster but I would start with 2 and work my way up. It may get hot at 2 teeth and cooler the more you go up. The motor does not slow down in the corners there for it stay spooled up and will already be topped out on the straights. I think this is the biggest reason for gearing up so much.

Default C027 ...F-Brush + / 767 -

EA -

I've had very good success running F Brush + / 767 - with Purple+ Red- springs.

I don't have a fantom dyno, so all I'm going by is "feel" on a large / technical track (running carpet foam). It feel's like it has excellent top end and loads of torque in the corners.

If you have time, could you run some comparison dyno readings for this set up on some CO27's you are tuning too see if you get the same results?

I'd be very interested in seeing the numbers posted just to substantiate the "feel" I'm going by..!

Thanks,
Todd

Yes the Epic 3800 and the IB3800 are the exact same cell. Just different color shrink for different distributors.
