So I'm the race director at Thunder RC Raceway here in Nashville. EA's home track. it was the club race yesterday and EA was there testing a new chassis out for BMI But in between dominating the club race and running the car various times on the track EA went out of his way to help out the guy in last place. this guy had his radio setting so jacked that he couldn't turn in a 40 acre field one way and turn 2 feet the other. that helped this guy go from 18 second laps down to 14 second laps and I know this made this guy feel better about his racing. I may give EA a lot of crap but I would just like to point that out.

I just said what it did and didn't do....Fair and Balanced....Kind of like the Roar Stock it has its uses and I think the CO27 does as well...Just not on really small tight tracks....

Alan please don't speak for me .....I like my own words to speak for themselves.THanks...

Yo Shookie your car was very good last night, i think your motor was top fuel just need to iron out the spring rate...the gearing was pretty close , i was standing out at the end of the straight it was screaming but not under geared. The next time you hit so cal we will get it better than that OLD monster...L8........nice seeing you racing again....

Shookie, it's interesting you say that because about everyone else that's tuned and run them (including Eric) says that they have quite a bit more bottom end than a monster, more like a P2K2, but still retaining the RPM of a monster. Your CO27 might just have a lot of RPM. Question though...are the magnets zapped? Would you mind posting how you're tuning it?

You know Brian.....
You might be right...
Some more testing I will be doing....
I might have had the spring rates a bit off as Homies had said...More testing is always a good thing..
But I was trying to also get the car dialed in so I really need more time..
But I did run it on a larger track early last week and it out proformed my monster so that is how I concluded my opinion...
But Hey Now I got more peeps wanting to try it...They all said the motor was screamin' I was just so supprised how heavy a gear you have to run to get the best performance....
I will post more when I get another chance to race.....

Hey Shookie let me know what you find....I usually run around a 1.01-1.03 with a monster on our 68ft straight away track. With the C027 this weekend me and a few other guys were at 1.14!! And it was fast and still finished strong as it started.

Try more teeth and see what happens

My advice is to keep gearing up. A friend of mine ran one, said it was pretty fast, and then I told him to gear it up another tooth and then he said it was rediculously fast

Edit: Eric covered it ^^^

I was able to TQ in big block running EA monster stock. I ran the fastest 19 laps in the a main LOL. Servo for what ever reason quit working. After getting home and un packed I plugged in a different servo and seemed to work fine ( plugged in the original 1 and it didn't work) I hope the problem is fixed.
