I still think the Roar Epic stock will have an advantage on a very large track from the extra RPM....

So the CO27 has higher torque and RPM than the Monster? Have you compared the CO27 to the Integy KOS?

Dyno results for the KOS are similiar to a Monster. Havent done track testing as of yet.

The CO27 has about 10 -15 more watts on the bottom end and about 1500 more RPM's than a Monster and that is with both using 767's and a red - and purple +. However if you run the XXX brushes you get more RPM and the powerband shift more to the upper region - hence gear down a tooth (48 pitch)

Had these since feb. 8th and have gone through a half case already and have found some real heavy hitters as you will in any batch..

As Eric said more time will tell... E

EA nice job at the Birds..

Thanks David....Good week in general.

The KOS seemed to have RPM between the Monster and Roar but didnt have the torque of either...it was lower than both but had decent wattage. On the track they seemed to have a little less grunt but ran very cool because of all the copper endbell. But the endbell will warp very bad if you are not careful. Not to mention the cap wire shorting out on the endbell.

The new CO27 runs very very cool on the track as well...It makes all its power and rpm but uses less amps than other motors. Which means cooler temps and stronger finishes.

Hey Eric,
I can't find the C027's on your website?
I must be blind or something!
Is it the one that says Epic based "C"?
I thought it was a Trinity motor?
I'd like to order one but I don't want to order the wrong motor!
Thanks
Max

Hey Eric,

What are we running on the CO27's for setup? Should we be gearing a touch taller as well?

Hey Korey,

I will know more after this weekend...Going to do some track testing.

Hey Pooky,

Last I heard was April on the new 19 turn.

A few C027's remain on the site.
