Eric,
I got to see the CHeckpoint 19T spec in action last night in TC......Lets just say...Even if you don't get your tear downs early on....I am buying two and sending you one to work your magic on....Those motors are insane...TOSO looked like he was going to literally take off....If only he had wings...LOL
All the Checkpoint guys were out racing them last night and WOW....Everyone in the 19T class was trying just to keep up...Good news is that the Reedy 19T you did for me was lent to a buddy and he was one of few that were able to almost keep up with TOSO...DANG he is fast....
I raced stock cause I was working on a different setup all day and finally got something working at the last minute...SO I stuck to stock...Did OK.
qualed 4th and got spun in the 5th corner and tried to play catch up for the rest of the race...I think I got back up to 4th or almost...Just not enough driver...Batts and motor were there...I geared wrong and still was turning fast laps....
Keep it up....Be ready for the CHeckpoint though...I will be sending it...LOL

Chris good job man. The welcome page looks sweet, now to get the motors on the right side with the current logo. Keep up the good work!

somebody was talking about the zero 30 tray a page back.

I was cycling some packs last night and before i did I chucked them up in the Zero30 until the lights went out. This was a 4 cell pack and yes the voltage did dip lower than 3.6 for the pack on the tray, it was more like 1.4-2.0 depending on the pack when the lights went I out, I hurry up and hit the cycle start.

My packs go about 414-428 runtime on the labels, I have used the Zero 30 method on them since October and they still all have 400-414 runtime.
So it works but do not leave them on the tray, take em off as soos as the lights go off.

I think I am gonna invest in the Tekin Tray just so I dont screw anything up. lol There is no way to equalize on the Zero30, at least the Tekin tray holds the voltage in place. or at least somewhere in the .5-.7 range per cell

I like the Team Wave one but man $120 seems a little steep for a tray.
but I do like that you can keep the cell locked to .9 and it will hold it there until the other cells get there.

Just two quick things.
Yes the 0-30 does equalize....it does at ZERO or dead short.
Also the Team wave not only holds the cell at .9 until the other cells get there but also if you leave it on there so if a race gets pushed back you don't have to worry about it...
Nice unit...using it for off road...LOL
Yes you can Dead Short IB cells...for all those who say "DON'T DO IT" when was the last tiem you tried it?
I have talked with Eric about this. The newer versions of the IB cells are perfectly capable of being DEAD SHORTED. I have been DS my packs for amost year. That is why I waited to buy EA packs until he told me they were gettign good results from the IB's even with DS....
YOU WILL LOOSE RUNTIME....BUT BOY DO YOU INCREASE THE VOLTAGE and DECREASE THE IR....
hope that helps those who might consider DSing.

And what decrease's in IR?
