Hey Guys,

I just put the 6 cells on the website. I dont have pics of them other than the CRAPPY one I took here. I will post a pic as soon as I get one deserving to put on the site. Just cycled my first 2 packs that I built. 1st cycle and the numbers were pretty close.

One thing to remember with these cells is use a .02 peak detect on them. I just checked mine as they charged and they still got to 140 degrees in an 80 degree room. Charge at 6 amps discharge at 30 or 35 (I use 35). Also these cells will come with 500 seconds of charge in them. This is how you have to store them if you are running mod and want to keep the most runtime out of the pack. If your running stock or 19 turn you can deadshort them But I am not sure of the long term effects yet!!!!

Thanks

The voltage is through the roof if you do DS them. INSANE!! I sure hope they stand up to the deadshort as well as GP's do cause the increase in voltage all the way past 300 seconds is worth it.

I need mod brushes and some mod 6-cell packs-I'll call ya tomorrow if thats cool.

So what is the difference in batteries for stock verses mod and is 19t considered mod?

Hi Bonzaiii,

Generally "stock" batteries will have a little more voltage and less runtime compared to "mod" batteries. In mod you are pretty much just concerned with runtime.

When I think of 19turn I tend to think about wanting voltage over runtime, so I guess I consider them "stock".

In 19t you should never have a problem with run time, so I always consider my stock packs my 19t packs also. Then I have separate packs for mod where run time is the most important.

What rollout should I start out at runnning an EA 19T on a med/low grip track with two fairly long straights with rubber tyres?

I would run around a 6.0 FDR on a large straight track (130+Feet). Try that and go from there. But generally the C2's like about 1-2 teeth more than a Monster stock.

Mr Rolla,

Ive never had anyluck with the cross cut brushes at all. So my opinion is no. But you may still try them and see what you think.
