I was in the B. I was on A pace with one minute left in the final qual on Sunday, but rolled it and got hit by the guy behind me. To show how close the races were...that 2 1/2 seconds was the diff between Oliver 8th on the A grid and Oliver 6th on the B grid.

Sorry, I missed your main....especially if it was as action packed as your quals

I'm not eric, but I think I can help out. I think re-serrating the brushes would be a good idea. The serrations create edges in the face of the brush, and for some reason this creates a little more power. When the serrations are worn down, I sometimes just drill a cavity in the brush to create some more "edges" in the face of the brush.

i would go with the hole design
1 it`s easier to do
2 you can`t recreate the serrations on the new brush;;;i have 2 reserratars & both chew the hell out of the brush
3 the hole will last longer

also me & gavin clinch have been running them full face ,once they bed in that`s it, maybe clean up the trailing & leading edges a little between runs, that`s about it

Eric, got a Q for you, as I am not sure who else to ask. Is there a rule of thumb for checking the strength of magnets from say, a stock to mod or 19t motor ? Will a gauss meter be able to tell you a difference ?

Thanks,
Tim

Yeah a cavity is generally easier than reserrating like Mr Jolly said. IF you think about it they are also perfectly seated as well.

if you reserrate the brushe`s you have to go through that rigmorole of bedding them back in to match the comm
if you have a hole this won`t be such a issue when you cut the comm, if you use XXX brush you will only take of a very light skim coz the wear rate is very small compared to other brushe`s
but i do feel they lack indoor `get up & go` which the F-lines will give you

hope this helps

Thanks,

Tim get the Yokomo Telsa meter. It will do what you want without a problem. You can get them from the hobbyshop or Steve at Speedtech carries them too.

Hey Guys,

The shirts will be here next week!! They are gray and have the EAMotorsports logo on the front and back. Very nice looking. I will post a pic of my black ones from the Snowbirds later.

Email me for pre-orders. They will be 15.00 each. Very high quality shirt and print. Mine still havent faded or shrunk!!
