No
Not for now,
there has been 3 versions v2 was the best by far then came v3 which was the bad by far, think EA is working on it to resolve the problem (to much silver ) nuked the comms in 1 run

the 767`s are very good EA `s motors made there mark using 767`s in the first place

OK I got a "wierd one" ...I rebuilt my 3 monster and 2 binary based motors ...I hadn't read about the "F brush deal" and used F brushes ...one of the binaries when I tried to break it in on my CE GFX it "reboots" the CE GFX. Well after reading about the F's I though that was it, as I ordered them on 2 diff ocasions, one of them coinciding with the timing of the bad batch ...and of course I just mixed them all up in one baggy

Ok no prob, I figured I'd rebrush them all with 767's ...here's the wierd part, the same binary does the same thing with the 767's ...oh and this is at 2 volts, I tried going as low as .5 volts and same results, although once at .5 volts it said something like "voltage to high" before it "rebooted"

...so what does that sound like?

i just tried running my monster and ROAR in on the advantage and the monster ran in fine but the ROAR...no matter what i try running it in at it says "motor short or disconnected"

thing is, it doesn't do it on the monster so why the ROAR?

Harshguy,

That's a weird one for sure.

Have you made sure there isn't something (like a washer) stuck in the motor?

I'd also check to make sure the motor rotates freely with no brushes in it. If the armature has developed a partial short in it the motor will still run but it'll pull massive amps.

If you're sure neither of the above is the problem then you can try gently scrubbing the face of the brushes on a flat surface. This will flatten the edges of the brush just a little. Sometimes the contour of brush will cause it to touch the comm only on the outer edges, this can make the motor pull a lot of current for the first minute or so during break-in. Once the brush breaks in a little and it begins to "fit" the comm better the amp draw will drop down. Scrubbing the edges flat speeds up this process.

You now have a broken charger? Try charging some cells, if it displays 0A then its broken. Did that to mine on the first stock i threw on it which drew about 6.5A 57 seconds, it stops and never worked again.
