Yeap Red on the Neg and Purple on the Pos. If you get time to play around though you may change that and put the purple on the Neg and red on the pos...Something Ive found seems to work well since I went back to the 767's.

Also Monsters will be in stock middle of next week.

Sup Eric.......

Just sayin the batteries are awesome and perform the same way. Hopefully you will have some excellent stuff for the Reedy Race in May. I can't wait. You should have a package arriving soon by the way.

Thumbs up Factory stock motors vs tweaked?

I just sent EA ten motors that I've run the past year for his tune and tweak program. Every motor returned from EA a screamer according to my Robbe dyno.

They even outran brand new factory motors out of the package.

Why doesn't or why can't the factory put a good tweak before they ship a new motor - seems like brush alignment is 50% of the effort.....why doesn't the factory dial motors in to peak performance.

Anyway - thanks Eric - I'll be ordering motors and services from you!

Tweak the brushhoods........... boils down to time cuz every motor is different. I worked for a motor company and producing over 1000 stock motors in a week doesn't really leave time to tweak brushhoods, check them, tweak again.

Alignment typically makes them perpendicular to the armature holes in the top and bottom of the can.

Tweaking them aligns them to wear squarely onto the comm and provide maximum power when seated.

Exactly...... it is different for every motor........ each side of the brush hood. Might take a pair or two of brushes to get it perfect. Takes some practice.

Jeff Brown thanks for answering those questions.....The were perfect.

Bill in CA.... Glad you like the motors. Did you notice the arm I sent back that was bad? Not sure how it ended up like that...Looks like something was in the motor while you were running it. But I replaced it for you N/C. Let me know if you need anything else.

Pace I will call GB tomorrow. Ive got Roar stocks in now...thats what he was wanting. I can get them to him before next week no problem.
