Well my car was rapid last night, some people had a hard time believing i had a 27T in. Thought i had popped my speedo though, but seems the profile was set too low.

Default EPIC ROAR stock

Do you have the EPIC ROAR stock available? Is this motor good for off-road? I'm running a Binary comm in a Monster can right now and it is very fast. Is the ROAR motor basically the same?

Hey JP, thanks for the encouragement for carpetwars and i had a good meeting. I had a mare of a first day finishing 15th but after some drinking saturday night and a killer hangover i managed to get a clean run in the 5th round. Placed it 4th in the A with one round to go. Start the final run and improving until clipping a curb and hitting a barrier, Bevel gear broken! 3 people improved and put me down to 7th.

Finals were wierd though, put new boots on for first and span round in circles, tyres were awful!! back to old boots and managed to get a 7th and 4th. The last final was awesome though cos after a bad start i was catching Jimmy Maddison and Kerswell toward the end, at least the cars working well. Finished 6th overall and was well chuffed. Lots more to come though!! wait and see.

Can i thank Colin from CSracing for the encouragement (and breaking the first set of bevel gears!) and EA for a rapido motor.

Cheers

Robz

I have been ill with flu over the last week & still had a chest infection over the weekend, i went sat ,sitting 8th in the a , then my health was more importent so i didn` t go to race on sunday ,it was real cold in the hall , they didn`t put the heating on atall
robz preferrs putnam grn/blue, but jimmy liked the F-lines (he TQ`ed)kerswell & hollaway are using F-lines aswell in there flux things
I was in rob`s heat my car was fast running F-line,vertical slot,grn/red combo @ 8.09
Real happy with this combo to the point where i stopped looking for speed out of the motor, it was the car only, i have been running it to soft all this time till now

Found out the centre point guy`s were charging there new batts @6.5-8 amps to get the speed
i didn`t i charge at 5.5a all the time ,really can`t see the point in doing stupid things like that

Shame jimmy didn`t get it , he`s running the br00d motors but with F-lines ,still good he came 3rd
but robz did us proud as well as adrian bidewell

Mr J;
What units are you expressing your gear rollout in? (8.09) Sory if this is a dumb question.
