I ran my fusion 3700s yesterday a got 3rd in a-main, 1st in points. The batteries lost a little power because they got shorted a little bit because the screw that goes in the battery post dug into my battery. But no harm done.

thanks for your concern. I've sent email using Jeff's addy (from his promo mails) perhaps you can have a look at. I'd reserve phone call as last option since time difference is so wide; it might not justify staying up very late at nite for long distance phone call No malice intended as other packs are great.

John- Has Fusion been doing any testing with IB3800's? How probable do you think it is that Fusion starts assembling these bad boys?

I put my Fusion 6 cell pack on my Indi zero equalizer and noticed that one of the bulbs didn't light up, all the other lights were on. To test to make sure the bulb was good or to see if I had a dead cell, I flipped the pack around and sure enough, I had a dead cell. Why would one cell be dead and the rest not? What killed this cell? By the way, it is an older pack.

If a pack has not been properly cared for during it's life, such as equalizing all the cells before charging, the cells may start to perform at different levels so in a sense you're not longer running a matched pack. I'm not saying this is what you did and it is entirely possible that one cell did die, I've seen it happen and had it happen to me before. If the battery was already fairly discharged when you put the pack on the tray the dead cell may not be too far below par, I would try to charge the pack after equalizing it on someones Futaba CDR-5000 to see how much performance that cell has lost compared to the rest of the cells.

If the dead cell has only slightly less runtime you might not notice much of a difference, so if it's not completly dead the pack may still make a decent practice pack.

Josh we are still testing at this time. Once we feel the Ib cells are equal to the gp cells we will probably start offering them as well.
