Another round completed in the Jimmy Babcock Offroad series. This weekend was a true test of batteries with an air temp of 105 and a track temp of 140!
Aaron's Fusion packs performed flawlessly as he took home 3rd in both Expert Truck and Buggy classes. Thanks to Fusion he had great power all weekend no matter how high the temp got outside.

Ran my Fusion 3700s for the first time last Saturday. Won both qualifying heats with them. They were great. In the final I rolled the car and the batts broke the battery bar. Oops. Anyhow, great batteries! Thanks.

Well I ran my Fusion 3700's HARD on saturday. Trackside had it's 8th Annual Summer Sizzler race. This year's race was BIG and had some real tight competition. A list of some of the drivers there...
Brian Jucha, Brad Johnson, Stephen Sobottka, Mike Pulfer, Mo Denton, Jeff Cuffs, Eli Ezrow, Jim Herrman, Chris Goetz, Brian Lutz, Kevin Kane, Buddy Blystone and many more fast guys.
I made the A in both Stock Foam and 19t classes, finishing 3rd in 19t and a DNF in stock after a very rough first couple laps . I nearly TQ'd 19t, but I had traffic and DOH problems.

pony,
What John is saying here is spot on and not what you would expect but it is true. After 4 or 5 runs some of your cell's voltage will have gone up by .01. It happened to my 3700's 1.185 on the label but after a cycle 2 of them were up to 1.195!!!
Chris.

Jason you should be ok. Just equalize your cells before the next charge cycle.

Battery Dimensions
Guys, I have heard the GP3700 are bigger than the 3300's. I heard that people have some difficulty putting them in TC4's and other cars etc. I see XRay has a new chassis for the GP3700. I didn't see or do first hand fitting it yet so I don't know.
I will be making a battery strap modification for my TRF415 with the Xray strap and those plastic battery stop items. I am sick of taping in the battery.
I see on the GP website that the GP3300 (GP330SCHR) and GP3700 (GP370SCHR) has the same nominal dimensions at 23mm diameter and 43mm height.
So what's the difference? I want to make sure the chassis can handle both when I am finished with it. Thanks.

John. Nick and I have TC4s. We used the 3700s we just got from you last weekend at the Sizzler. I had no problems fitting them into the chassis. It didnt need any modifacations to do it. They worked great.
