John, all I have to say is thanks for the awsome packs!
I ran a 15 minute A main with gas trucks a few weeks ago.
Qaulified second , stopped at the 7:30 mark for a battery change.
I ended up winning the main with plenty power left.
I was running a Cobalt 10x2.

Dear battery guru's can someone please expalin: If you have a sub c cell and "A" size cell both rated at 2000, wouldn't they perform the same and last just as long as the other (assuming everything is identical voltage, ir, etc, etc the only difference is the size)?

Thanks

The main difference is that the smaller batteries cant handle the amount of amps that rc car motors require. Under acceleration, some motors may pull over 50 amps. Regular sub-c cells can handle this amount of draw, where as the little aa batteries may only be able to handle a 10 amp draw.

Thanks rcguy2477. I was trying to save weight on a TLT-1 monster truck. Instead of using 6 heavy regular batts using 6 AA batts with a mabuchi motor
