Plus... all things being equal it's not the chassis that wins the race... it's the skill of the driver.
Plus... it shouldn't be too tuff to get the FK'05 to work with the new 3700's... the JRX's on the other hand will definately have some issues there unless your good with a dremel.

In the meantime, I'm getting to strip my poor TC3 down to get it ready it for the good ole EBAY! Sorry, Mike!!

XRAY all the way. Of coarse I haven't even finished putting mine together but since the kit was more expensive it has to be better.... Right?

Either one is a good bet in my book. I like the JRX-s motor positioning and battery mechanism better. But I've heard some nightmare stories about how hard it can be to get some of the new 3700 cells and such into that bad boy.
HOwever, I like the build quality of the Xray better. It's amazing how easy it is to build an Xray. Preassembled diffs alone sure take the stress out of building one.
Does anyone know what the weight of a xray fk'05 is compared to a JRX's sans electronics and such? I'm wondering which is lighter and by how much. Do either of them get even close to the new ROAR minimum for foam racing?

My FK05 weight is around 1385g. Roar weight for carpet is 1418. So it is a little under weight.
I'm not sure about the JRXS though.
Mike will have to answer that one.

That with all the electronics, body and body clips? Not bad.
What electronics are you running in it?
