I think I might have a place to get some tires.....I'll make a call later and let you know.
Okay, so who's bringing the belt sander??

Just got back from Tag's shop. Check it:

Rebuilt 8 of my stock motors:

WHOA! Gained plenty of HP...most motors went up 1-4W and they were already very solid to start with. I'm really pumped to try them out. Should only be another week and a half. I hope to be at DC on the 2nd if all goes well.

Tag can verify that we were geting some serious power out of the motors.

On this particular Fantom (all register a little differently) a solid motor is 60-61W. Three of my motors were 64ish and above with 9.3-9.5 torque #s.

No kidding! Actually, let me rephrase that last post: it looks like Hobby Chamber will be having a race on the 2nd of January.

I know a bunch of guys will be going out there. Haynes, you going to that one? Also, I think we'll be heading out to Madness for the January Jam race.

Cuffs, what's your January look like? You heading to those races with your posse as well?

True that, Punky. Those motors were really solid to begin with. Remember how fast they were at the regional for ya? That's when you qualied 3rd behind Cuffs and Schref.

We found some really interesting combinations and some surprises--common brushes that a lot of people use with these that really only produced average results. Tag has definitely found a favorite combo so far.
