Oh man, I see that.

I understand their point about foams not lasting, etc., but like you said, if they want to generate more interest in the track they really should allow foams on a weekly basis. They can run rubber themselves if they don't want to spend the $$$.

I mean, most of the local races (ORL, etc.) allow foams. Why not prepare for them weekly in a proper manner?

The way I also see it if you dont cut the foams down to 57mm you can get 2 weeks from foams and rubber Ive only got 10 runs and needed new tires so what are we talking 2 1/2 weeks on rubber against 2 weeks on foams

Yeah, I think they figure as long as the rubber is still on the rim, that's all you need. ;-)

Not allowing foams is one of the reasons I don't really think of going to Jackson. Like John said I normally only get 5 to 10 runs on rubber tires or 2 weeks worth of running. Even on my Tamiya car after about 5 runs or so you can tell the differance as performance starts to drop off some.

Foams are fast from start to finish.

Does Surge use the new "shorty" cells in all their packs?

Yes. We use the latest batch of GP 3300 'shorty' cells.

Are you in the market for some packs?

Yeah, that was the only real fly in the ointment.

Having said that, there was talk that they were going to pave over that at some point. We'll see...
