So far at WestChester I bet I have been thru about 75 bucks in parts. Some of the hits were more than running really close in a corner like at some other tracks and just bearly touch and WHAM!!!!!!! your car is broke. Bring plnety of front end stuff like a arms, steering blocks, and caster blocks just to be safe. The shop don't have really any of that stuff so bring as much stuff as you can just to be safe.

Ouch! Yeah, South Shore is brutal. I had the similar results in practice there with my 12th scale. The boards + high-traction carpet + 90* turn at the end of the backstraight = broken chassis.

Tyler, thanks for the info. I'll wait to her from ya.

Wow what a day at the Alpine, Good show I got 6th and Jon got 7th in the A main stock touring won by Scooby Horton I belive Jeff Cuffs and Billy Spence were 2nd and 3rd Gary was in the B with a great showing.
Jon, next time Ill charge my battery for the main earlier on time and maybe have a chance,Good thing for Surge power to make up the diffrence. Next time I hope my son doesnt catch a gas car with his teeth, man that was ugly. He handled it like a man.

Mike Haynes how did you do sat.

I ened up qualifing 3rd in mod, first was Mike Dumas with a 20 in 5:02, Then Mark who was running a 12th scale...gr...but thats besides the point, i was the 2nd wqualifier in my book, because i signed up for mod touring, not mod anycar, lol. Anyways, i ran a 20 in 5:03, i was on a 20 in 5 flat, but i went soft...very hard to belive, but i guess a 6x1 will do that on a huge track.

In the main, i jumped out front in the begining, but on lap 5 i poped a wind on my motor and that was the end of the huge lead i had made, thanks mainly to insane horsepower, and battery to suport it, i would have easily made time in the main if i hadn't blown the motor.

All said and done, i had a ton of fun, and got a better setup for the blacktop.

Glad you guys had fun, i just couldnt make it to both races in 1 weekend.

Good job, Mike. That's odd that they stuck a 12th scale in with you guys. How many entries were there?

Yeah, John, we had a *really* good showing. Man, did we have to *work* to make the A this week. Really good turnout for stock sedan: A, B, C, D mains. You were right, 31 was the ticket.

John, I think you needed to gear up big-time on that Monster. Your problem was power. I don't think you were in the right power band for that particular motor for the main. You drove the wheels off the car but just didn't have the horsepower necessary to contend.

I on the other hand had tons of horsepower in the main, but after I was *TOSSED INTO THE ROCKS* while in the top 5 by another driver, my body clip in the front came off and then the body started to drag in the corners. That was the end of that--basically hobbled around until the end.

One thing I have to say is that I was really disappointed in the quality of passing in traffic by the drivers. John and I were both very gracious in traffic, but we certainly didn't receive the same graciousness (other than Jeff Cuffs--I remember he raced me clean the entire time).

It is a Multiplex servo and you never know we might be able to have someone make some small flame decals for on the case.
