Okay here's my problem. I have a VX esc and I have updated the usb adapter, program card and esc to their respective updates. Now when I connect the esc to the program card it keeps showing Loading..., it's been that way for five minutes now. Can someone help?

Hey all,

Looking for some help with gearing for my 21.5 TX, track size is about 12 sec a lap carpet.

Good starting point be around 3.7 FDR or something higher you think?

Thanks for your time.

Default RX3 13.5 & 17.5 boosted

Hi guys. Need some help please. Our first batch of RX3's where pretty good and strong. The second batch is not even close to the originals. When we tested them on the motolyzer with the endbell on 0....it showes 19 deg. The first ones where 30deg with the can on 0. As we advance the timing the phases go out completely.... the rotors are showing 5 and 6..which is no good. We are truly Orca supporters and do not want to change brands. Any info will be appreciated

You'll probably have to contact the distributor or Importer you bought them from to get any type of feedback.

I personally have not seen any of this with the stuf I have in stock but I also dont check every single one of them either. Just random QC checks as batches come in to make sure they are consistent.

And if your using a motorlizer 5-6 on a rotor is not "no good" 30 is no good. 5-6 is average I would say from what I have seen on any brand.

Seems my motorlizer goes up to 30 as a bad one. But its been a while since Ive updated it so perhaps they have changed the software as I know there are some newer updates that what I have.

Thanks

What sort of performance are the 21.5TX Motors giving? I am close to upgrading my R1 Wurks 21.5 to a newer version, but I have an Orca 21.5TX in my pit box from a collection I bought a few months ago, it's been used maybe a dozen times on a carpet track and looks immaculate, but not sure if it's worth a try to keep myself at the pointy end of the field (Guy who wins all the time has a Trinity 21.5 Short Stack Certified thing)

Car is a T4'15, Hobbywing V3.1 ESC (might switch to a Tekin for the logging, but not sure on performance there either, an old RS Pro I had made the car feel very sluggish) with SMC Cap attached (not that I think it does much)

TX's are still really good motors,
Pat used one I believe to win AOC in 21.5 I think, Jeff used one to win 13.5 state titles last year, I still use one in my F1 car,

What's the worse that can happen ?? set the timing to 1 click past the last mark and gear it to temp.
