They had to make a running change to the entire TX motor line due to it not passing ROAR inspection due to vent holes in the can. There has to be holes on the can that they can measure the stator through. The vents were too small. The change has already been made and new motors are on the way to ROAR for inspection. Its the reason the motor has never made it for sale here in the US.

I'm having problems getting my Speedo to calibrate with my radio. I'm running a KO eurus ,the only way I can get it to calibrate is to reverse the throttle then pull full throttle for brakes ,turn on esc do brakes as full throttle then unreverse the throttle and do the rest of the calibration the normal way. Now I'm not sure if its going to work correctly . Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution ?

I have a KO helios and had to redo the 'adjust vr' setting on my radio to get the speedo to calibrate

As Elee said do a VR Adjust. If the throttle pot starts to wear on the radio it wont see the proper endpoints and can cause this. Also make sure your EPA is reset to 100 (or factory settings) on the radio before trying to calibrate. On the Futaba I have to leave my throttle reversed for it to work (just like a tekin).

Hi,

can VX-1 to support 3.5T motor for 1/12 ?

I wasn't sure and I thought I see somewhere that the minimal turn is 4T.

Please advise.

The min advised motor is a 4.0 turn. I know some guys have used a 3.5 but cant use any boost or timing as it will over heat if too much is applied in a 8 minute run. It wont blow the speedo up but may thermal if too hot.

Just to share.

I've been running a 3.5 with mine, I had to turn the motor timing down to -20/ -30 but can make time with out the esc over heating. It's still fast enough with out any issues and my lap times are still good.

I would recomend a 4.0 but I'm a cheap ass and don't feel like buying one to practice.

So anyone wanting some of them I'll have those in the near future (Next week along with more speedo's).

I have 2 of them, and they are 10x better than what I had ( 2 ohp and 1 rev tech ) we spoke about the 5mm bullets and I think that's the reason they are better than my other batteries

Just want to give an update to some new Authorized ORCA dealers in the US. These are shops that are selling the ORCA products here in the US now. Any other shops interested in carrying the line can contact me as well.

Awesomeatix USA (Mike Hanulec).
Superior Hobbies, Orlando FL
Osmon Racing products. California.
Middle River Hobbies. Maryland.
Team EAM. Tennessee.

There are several others in the process of setting up accounts and getting the products in stock.

Thanks!
