An idea on FDR would also be cool

Thanks

Thanks Craig I'll give that a go.

This is what I'm currently using, but I must admit, I'm not clear on what does what, as this was a friends setup. How would the setup on note 125 perform differently to this setup?...

Timing: 39
Turbo delay: 0.05
Turbo timing: 58
Turbo interval: 1
Punch:10
PWM: 4k
Drag brake: off
Initial brake: off
Brake freq: 1.4 kHz

Thanks.

On a tight infield track I would not set the turbo delay to off. This will add turbo timing as soon as the esc sees full throttle. In most instances this will cause a corner overshoot as the power comes on hard. I would all a .1 or .2 second delay as turbo is really only for longer straights. I agree with the drive frequency as for the timing interval I would adjust it so that you are maxing out (top speed) by the end of the straight. If you are not getting to top speed by the end of the straight then decrease timing interval or back off the turbo timing if you are not then increase turbo. The other settings seem fine to me. Personally I like a lot of drag brake so this is just a personal thing.

Hi, what do you mean by 'drive frequency'? Is this the PWM thing?

Yes. PWM is drive frequency. It is listed in KHz.

Here is link to the manual that explains all the functions of the ESC

This should help you figure out what each setting does.

Default Orca Q Spark

I just bought 2 Orca Q Spark 17.5t Combo Sets. One of the sets has lag in throttle operations when it's turned on. Also, the green blinking light blinks slower than the other one when in profile 1.

Can anyone advise. Thanks.

While I am not associated with ORCA, Alexander Hagberg spent a week with me at my track testing before the birds and running the ORCA prototypes. His car was fast and the throttle was very smooth and linear. He said that he had heard they hoped to have them out sometime in the next 2 months but hasnt heard anything official yet. His were still prototype units.
