Well.. depending on rotor strength, timing, and track size....

Typically:

12.5 3 line rotor, 30/35* endbell timing, around a 3.8 or 3.9 FDR on a 88 x 40 track

12.5 4 line rotor, 40*/40*+ endbell timing, around a 4.04 FDR on a 88 x 40 track

On larger tracks (100 x 50), drop timing 5* or so and drop FDR (4.04 to 3.90)

On smaller tracks (60 x 30), keep timing up and raise FDR (4.04 to 4.1+)

Target temps 150's and watch fade. Only should have .2 fade max.

We are currently working on increasing production. What I would advise is to place the order and wait until we have another batch. We get so many orders a day that they are out of stock when we get a batch in, because they are all pre sold.

I haven't posted in some time, been crazy busy assembling motors, taking calls, and returning e-mails.

My track has two motors ordered for me, these are supposed to be Christmas gifts. Do you think they will be here by then, or do I need to look into to something else? I really need to know, thanks.

Who ordered the motors?

I just got back from the Indoor Champs and I'm trying to get things caught up

I know I'm about 8 or 10 orders behind and running low on endbells.

Next shipment is motors/supplies will be shipping this week, 3 day delivery.

If I don't get your hobbyshops order with what I have I'll definately get it when the next shipment arrives.

You'll have it for your stocking

Just recieved my 13.5 for my 1/12 scale. What would be a good starting rollout for a 100x40 track? Motor is set up with 20* timing and has the 12.5 2 line rotor

86mm would be a good starting point.
Watch fade and temps.
Should be .2, .3 max. fade and approx. 120/130*
If temps are lower add a gear at a time.
If temps are higher and fade is more then .3 drop timing 2 or 3*

If I place an order on friday for a 13.5 1/12th motor, what are the odds of getting it before Jan 10th? Need a motor for the Florida state series race.

Default TSR 13.5

We will have our next batch of motors late next week. My guess is xmas will delay it until Monday. About 4 days to go through them. I can't guarantee it, but can be possible. I will find out

I'll accept a good effort. Will place the order in the morning. Thanks.

Got it. Thanks so much, I can't wait to try this thing out on the minnreg rug. If the motor is as good as my car was last race, it should be up front.

84mm rollout seems to be pretty universal these days but what about timing? How much is built into these things?

I ran 19/20 degrees at Minnreg last race and it was pretty dialed.
