Here's a pic of 1 of the 21.5's I've checked.
There were a few that dipped into the 33.7 range

We did alot of testing with the new 21.5 today.

Results:

This layout has thousands of laps on it, hot lap was an 8.28, but then dropped off during the race to 8.7's

We were able to run slightly faster 8.24, but still ran 8.3's at 10 minutes in!

The motor has more bottom end then anyother motor we've tried.

The track was slower then last week and we were able to go faster for longer!

The next test is the new 13.5's

We'll be running them at The Firecracker Classic at NORCAR this upcoming weekend. Time for some oval racing!

I bought a team scream 17.5 a few months back and this motor has been awesome for me. Yesterday was more proof as I won 17.5 at Joliet which is very nice out door track.

I ran 38 degrees timing with a 3.33 fdr.

I went to the track today and tested out one of the 5000 vta packs in my 17.5 blinky touring car. With my old pack (orca 6200) I was able to run 7.9 at the beginning of the race and 8.0s at the end of the race. With traction being off and first time running the pack. I was a slight bit slower. That means it will only get better!!! The track was a little off so I was a .1 slow off the bat but I'm sure next race day it will pick back up and times will be back on track. The ir numbers for the pack based on my icharger 308 where 1.3 ohms per cell. This was after one cycle on the pack at 10 amps by no means am I pushing the limit of the pack at that rating. After the 2nd cycle the numbers dropped slightly to 1.2 ohms per cell, once again only at 10 amps. I am looking forward to run this pack more especially on race day when it matters! Imagine the power of a non vta pack in a vta car! Worth lots of time we'll you get that in this pack http://teamscreamracing.com/catagory..._and_1/12_Lipo.

Hey Mick!

The 13.5's are being tested more in oval and TC on carpet and asphalt this weekend.

These are the latest version that just arrived (just a small quantity).

Just spot checking resistance numbers I'm seeing 12.9 (the lowest) to 13.2 (the highest) at 72*F on my MMS meter. Most were 13.1, for ref. my best D3.5 is 12.7/12.8

Hey Mike,

The rotors we put into TC's for high bite carpet are 1600g.

We sold out of those, but if you're running asphalt or lower bite carpet you can use a 1550 to 1570 and be OK.

So it comes down to, what are you running on?

-Wayne
