Fans of Epic products might like this one...

Paul Lemieux fans will like this interview we conducted by him at the Reedy Race for R/C Evil Empire. Paul took the time to give us some background on his r/c career and the future direction of touring car racing in the U.S. Thanks to Paul for taking the time!

They are approved. ROAR is probably has not updated the list recently. The DUO 2 just won the Nationals On Road

They are on the list under Team Epic, they have been on there since August this year.

Part numbers shown match the spec duo2 numbers. There is all 3 generations of motors on the approval list. DUO, Pulse & DUO2

2 weeks ago at the J.B.R.L. electric finals we were told that the Duo 2's were not on the list and therfore we were not able to run them. After closer inspection a couple people found out that the part # for the Duo2 was listed as a Duo and therefore should have been able to be ran afterall.........

The Duo2's were on the Roar list when I ran the region 12 onroad race September 25-27.

the wording is ambiguous for the duo2 motors on the ROAR list. For a place where noone has access to look up the part number, the tech crew (JBRL tech crew in this case) goes "Thats a Duo2, that is not on the approved list. All i see is Duo, not Duo2" and wouldnt let anyone with a Duo2 run. If someone looked up a part number, woulda been fine but thats not always possible. I emailed Dawn Sanchez about it and she said the wording on the list is what Team Epic themselves submitted so if Team Epic submits a revision to the name of the motor (since TEP1002 known EVERYWHERE as a Duo2 and not a regular Duo) on the list itself, then any ambiguity will be cleared up. Just thought id point that out.

Anyways, has anyone ran the Nemesis motors? even for testing? Was gonna be ordering a few Duo2 17.5's but the Nemesis press release just came out and I want the best out there right now and it sounds like Nemesis is it.
