Hi everybody. I want to take this oppurtunity to wish everyone a safe trip to the birds and the best of luck with the round the clock racing, Ibiza style Lay it down

PMRGrrrrrl , I hope everything's working out as planned and that you won't do any last minute flailing. Also, if my order hasn't been sent out yet, can you please add 7 KAN 1050 cells to it? It's for a brushless Tamiya TLT-1, thanks.

Neil, you going to the TA track tomorrow, my brother wants somebody to practice F201 with.

8min is the norm for 12th scale stock, you should be able to make run time with any of PM's GP3300 packs. I ran this class all last winter with a set of packs in the 405-415sec range and never came close to boattery dump.

If you still dump with 3300 packs I would suggest checking your motor. make sure you are not using heavy springs or overgearing the car. You may also want to true the comm more often to help keep the eficiency up.

Also try to drive the car smoother, avoid any abrupt throttle changes, roll the power on and off verry smoothly especialy at the bottom of the power band. By driving with smoother steadier throttle transition you will be amazed at how much longer the battery lasts and faster the car goes.

Another thing to try is narrowing the brushes in your motor. I usually narrow my brushes to around .150 for 12th scale. You may need to gear up a tooth if you do this but you'll be surprised at the extra runtime. Of course some new PM batteries would also probably fix the problem
