Right now it seems the voltage has been a little lower but I haven't heard the guys say anything about runtime.

Thats a bummer. I did get a pack of the new short cells that were 425 @ 1.178. I think I'll hold onto it for awhile before building it.

promatchrcr:

I just dont see what all the fuss is about with promatch batteries..... I got one pack that just doesnt have much punch at all, well for that matter no punch. I mean come on, this pack doesnt seem to work to well if you dont have your battery bars connected to one of the cells......

Ah well, maybe the new Xmas special packs will do the job (if I build them better this time).

Will see tom. in Mississippi as they get cycled (now dont nobody go take the first part of this post as something serious)

I just built and charged one of my pro-match packs that I got for Christmas.... Anyhoo, they got all the way to 4030mAh, I don't know if this is normal... Also, this charger I got too (Integy 16x9v6)... I don't know what a lot of these numbers mean. The manual tells me how to charge them, but it doesn't say why and what's good... So, I'm going to have a lot of questions in the next few days, weeks, months etc... until I figure this battery stuff out!

Promatch has excellent information on thier site to help you out with probably any question you could have just go herePMR SUPPORT I also seen the same thing with the capacity on the new cells It doesnt seem right does it. Its funny that so many different bateries all came with the same GP3300 logo on it. Does that also mean if I stick a stock motor sticker on my 19 turn it would be legal too? Its all in the marketing isnt it?

imagine that, getting MORE than what you PAY for.... that's why PROMATCH is the best, hands down.

Your charge MaHs aren't the same as the runtime on the batteries. Just becasue it took 4030 MaH of charge doesn't mean that's how much is stored in the pack. You lose a lot of that in the resistance it takes to overcome your solder connections, heat, wire resistance and other factors. Your actual discharge MaH would mroe likely be down around 3500-3600 MaHs, which is still great.
