Have you heard?!?!
Good Afternoon Guys!!! Thought I would stop in here and let you all know that I am no longer at Pro-Match. We (my family) are moving to Champaign,Illinois (yes, where Horizon Hobby is located). I had planned on staying at Pro-Match for a bit longer but we are moving sooner than expected and I have many many things to do. I will still stop in here and see what's up and see how everyone is doing, so don't think you are rid of me that easy. I wish you all the best of luck in both your personal lives and of course in racing.

How do you find the promatch batts perform?
Do/did you get the batts from cleveland
Ever since i started to bring them over haven`t had one compliant about the performance from them which range from the 1.65-1.169 & 1.17+,must have passed on around 45-60 packs so far & rising

Nick - With the right care they should last a long time. Just charge and discharge like Promatch suggest and they should serve you well.
To store them that long, I would fully charge them. Discharge them and charged and discharge them again before you run them.

Mr Jolly
I got the cell deirct from promatch I mainly race 1/12th but also do a little TC got the cells for the Worlds in October so I will miss the first 3 Nationals of the BRCA season.
Found the cells to be very good and have had no problems with them at all.

Hi,
I have just purchased two packs of Promatch GP3300 and have experienced an issue with charging.
On the first charge, both packs repeatedly false peaked and I had to set the cut-off much higher than I normally would to get them to accept a full charge (12mv per cell instead of 5mv). I was careful to monitor both packs so they did not overcharge and get hot.
On the second cycle, I was able to set the charger (Mill Pro) on the regular Nimh setting and the packs did not false peak. Dissappointingly, both packs topped out with just under 3000mah. In addition, the peak voltage on the charger was much higher than I would have expected on new packs, about 9.12 volts.
Other brand GPs I've had (Orion & Fantom) did not false peak and took about 3600 to 3700mah on their first few cycles.
I am hoping this is perhaps just a characteristic of the cell or matching process and they will come good after a few more cycles?
Hope someone out there can put my mind at ease!
Thanks,
Scotty P.

Batteries
Promatch batts are well & trully legal
As well as the other two matchers i deal with
The brca don`t worry about different mathching lables to make them legal,They go bye part numbers
unlike motors if you change lable you have to submitt them to make them legal
If you want some give us a bell or e-mail they don`t hang around long, there is a shipment coming in next week

I would recommend putting a few cycles on them but if they still don't come around you can always send them back and we will exchange them or refund your money. If you do end up needing the return them make sure you send a brief note stating the problem and a copy of your invoice or receipt.
