Yeah, I think we're all recovered...although Smyka did nod off in the 1/12 A Main after he checked out...
Since there weren't any rumble strips to wake him up, he wacked a board, dropped back to mid pack and fought his way back to 2nd.
Had he won, that would have been 5 years in a row for Putnam Propulsion...
Atleast he TQ'd...

Hi,
What is a good starting setup for a CO27 with blue/green brushes for 1/12 (brush cut, springs, rollout, breakin)? Do you run drops? Thanks!

We ALWAYS run our Top Fuel Comm Drops...we use it during break in and during the races...

Thanks for the quick response. How many drops do you put in for the race? Also, do you run a fresh set every run at big races? And finally, what size com is that rollout for? Thanks!

Yes, we run a fresh set of brushes every run at the big races.
Your rollout should work with any comm size, as long as there is no significant rpm change. We typically race our comms in the .280"-.290" range.
Hope this helps...

Hope things are going well for you!!!

No, but it eliminates the variables of having to guess where we run them!
