Hey Guys - I am leaving the shop for Snowbirds today. We will try to ship all orders placed even though I will be gone. I will be back in the shop on Tues. 02/15.

Thanks - Brad

The Blue drops are for breaking in the brushes. The Red are for after you have broken them in it will help them last longer and get more power out of them. Good luck with the and if there is anything more you need feel free to ask.

Default Snowbirds Update......

I talked to Brad and he and the rest of the guys are just getting their first runs on the track. The layout is easy and the track is still a little green from what they have seen so far. Brad said hes gotten down to a 10.2 in 19t and 11.0 in stock. I dont have any info on Jucha as hes running right now. The new X-ray car looks sharp and Hudy has another car that has a few changes on it that will be more like what production is I guess. It has some nice features hes telling me. So this is the start of the WEEK of no sleep and racing 24-7 so I will update as much as I can from them. Also FYI Brian Koch picked up a RDX car for the weekend so hes just getting it all sorted out. Thats all the info that I have so far....stay tuned....

Would anyone know if orders placed mid-week last week would have shipped out before they left for the snowbirds?

I only live 30 minutes from Rockford... and I'm hoping to run the batteries this weekend.

Thanks, and good luck to the hurricane guys down in Florida.

Default Fan Usage

Kevin,
I read in another thread that when charging or discharging batteries, you are not supposed to have a fan blowing on them to keep them cool. What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks,
John

Takt....I will look into that for you. What is your name so I can check on your order?

JW.....The gp 3300's need to be warm when charging. The warmer they are the more punch they will have, up to 150 deg. If you use a fan on the pack while charging it seems like the packs are soft punch wise but get faster towards the end of the run as they heat back up. I dont use a fan on my packs at all it also makes them false peak once and a while.

Tim Shaw

Order was placed on Wednesday Feb 2 for the 420+ sec web special. I called to ask about getting the two packs matched closely together as I plan on breaking these up into three 4-cell packs, Brad indicated this wouldn't be a problem. I also purchased some motor springs.

Thank you for looking into it.
