The Midwest Onroad Champs at AJs was a blast!! The weather held out and there was no rain. The cool weather was perfect and kept motor and engine temps down.
The Hurricane crew and Hurricane powered cars did awesome.
Rob "Is" King threw down and TQ'd the Open Modifed Class
Kevin Kane I think qualified 2nd or 3rd.
If I remember right the finish was Rick Davito (running Hurricane 3700s), Kevin Kane, Matt Kufman, and Rob King.
Kevin and Rob had an awesome battle going for the entire race for 1st and 2nd. On the last lap they bumped and Davito snuck by :P
I am not 100% sure if those are correct but it's close.
19T Rubber was a blast and I thought most people felt it was actually more fun running rubber tires then foams. The pace was just about on par with the Foam guys.
Mike Dibb TQs
The Main was fast and Mike Dibb got away from everyone. Chris had 2nd pretty solid. Kevin and I battled for a few laps for 3rd...that was a blast Kev...I saw you nailing the brakes deep into one of those turns a bunch of times to catch up.
I burned my 19T up and finished 7th.
Hopefullly complete results will be up soon.
Everyone running the new Hurricane GP3700s were impressed and I didn't see anyone dumping the whole night. People still had plenty of power left after their runs.
