First off the new Xray chassis looks SWEET!!!! Jason you out did yourself. Aqua looks good as does the Ti. can't wait to lay Mini's (my son who is also a Jason) on the track.
thanks for giving me some to look at after a 16 hr day besides motor parts. those pics are great.
I have a question to all those who are having trouble mounting the Nitro Steering rack. (swing rack).
are you mounting the rack in the same holes as the kit rack??? or does your chassis have the new holes back by the batteries and servo. I was looking (ok staring) at the TC3;s I gave to the engineers who helped us on the new holes and I thought for you to have to grind on the "F" block to get clearance it almost sounds like your trying to mount it the stock kit rack holes. I will ask if I can try this on one of theTC'3s at work to see what happens.
as I don't have a chassis drilled yet I can only send you pics of the last chassis I have that I sent to Jason for measurements. all I really had to do was mod the diff case for clearance and I added a small spacer where the ball stud goes into the servo saver for the servo linkage.
on past versions I had to grind the plastic input shaft cup down (I always grind them down for stock to about half the dia). I use the small Assoc ball cups on my sedans. as they are a tighter fit with less play.
for those who do not have the nitro rack holes on thier chassis call Jason at B.M.I. for the measurements. it shouldn't be to hard to drill new holes in your chassis.
coloured graphite stiffness.
yes the coloured graphite is a LITTLE more flexable. but when you mount it like Jason has with the standoffs it is hardly there.
the only real differance is that you get a choice of great colours.\\
They look great!!!!!!! who ever shot them should concider getting into painting more I think they look great.
well I'm off I gotta be back at work at 11am again............ BUT I get a 3 day weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(just hope I don't sleep it all away)
