See Jason's previous post for a more in depth explanation of the changes....
In general the 007 version of the car is more forgiving and easier to drive fast/smooth/consistent than the original T2.
Still doing testing/refining on the 007 BMI conversion kit. The car was great on its first outting. Easy to drive and huge potential for speed. The weight savings over the 3.5mm should be impressive and I hope to have weight comparisson numbers for everyone soon.
Also, we are discussing going to a more traditional inner camber link mounting system that will allow much more adjustment than the stock quickroll configuration. In most cases, this should also eliminate the need to add shims on the front and rear hubs to increase your camber gain. I know, I know - everyone likes quickroll and its convenient. But the aluminum pieces bend easily, and they dont allow meaningful adjustments to your camber link angle. To compensate, most racers add shims on the hubs until they rub the inner edge of the wheel, which is not very convenient.
Anyway, sorry not to be able to give you solid numbers at this point, but the testing is ongoing. We should be able to post a more in-depth and detailed comparisson of results throughout this coming weekend.
