If it was done in Hard black anodize, it would be much more difficult to scratch up. But you might see marks where the motor screws are, but who looks there.

Not a problem, I just hope the change you made was when it gets too close to the boards the auto-board-detector engages and avoids its...

THX for the update...

jason,

I have a change that you may consider for the tube top deck. running a brushless motor, the solder tab hit the left side of the top deck. you can either mount the motor with the solder tabs toward the front or the back, but not center. to the back, it hits the cross brace between the bulkheads, toward the front it hits the brace that the tube mounts to. I can snap pics of mine if you would like to consider the change.

also, the change you had to made did wonders on the track. i need to find a little more steering because the rear was soooo planted now.

thanks again

i did make a change for the brushless motor mounting.this has been incorperated into the latest kits.

for more steering i went to putting a little AE diff lube on the king pins.if your running a brushless i would consider going to double pink fronts.

well i got to test the new kit version of the cyclone chassis and all i can say is sweet. i thought that my cyclone was very good in kit form, was i wrong i put on the BMI chassis and the car is way better carries even more corner speed over the stock chassis and very easy to drive. my lap times fell 2 tenths over the stock chassis. since i knew that the car is good in stock i wanted to test the chassis in 19t my laptimes in stock was a best of 12.6 and a consistent 12.7-12.8 in 19t my laptimes were a best of 11.9 and a consistent 12.0-12.1 that is exactly the spred in laptimes it should be with a car that works good.

jason i think this kit version should be a go it met and exceeded every expectation. i will get those hinge pin measurments to ya soon.

this was all tested running the car with parma cyan and magenta foam tires and GHP Motorsports motors.

WOW...I know how to get you another .3 a lap right off the bat!! LOL j/k

In all seriousness Anything Jason makes IS going to make a car even BETTER!! Ive never bolted a BMI product on my car and slowed down!!
