Sorry, I missed that...

Both top decks are 2.25mm too.

Jason didn't make towers for the asphalt kit mainly because the stock towers are already 3mm.

He does make towers for the carpet car. The only difference between the stock ones and the carpet ones is that the screws mounting the towers to the bulkheads are coutnersunk.

There are some different towers in the works for the asphalt chassis kit, as far as I know.

hey guys,

the asphalt kit is going to come with the chassis and both front and rear top decks.like schreff said,i did change the top deck from the proto i sent him.i went with no wings and more cutouts to let the chassis flex a little.i am working on the first run of asphalt kits now.they will be made from 2.25mm carbon fiber.i will post pics immediately following the completion of the first kits.

Jason, I have the carpet kit for the T2. What a difference over the stock chassis and top deck. Any chance of just purchasing the asphalt top deck separately? Keep up the great work with your products. This is the second kit I have bought from you.

Jason,

Ended up 7th in the "A" in 19T this past weekend. It was a good group of drivers and I had a tough time making it through the qualifiers, but I still put it in the show. Had a bad start, but finished strong. The T2 never faltered and I'm sure that you will be seeing some more orders for the kit soon.

Hartman and Rice's 12th scales looked awesome also.

Good showing for your kits all around.

Talk to ya later,

Tim

Just wanted to report day 1 on BMI asphalt chassie... Car was awsome. I only ran the car for 2 practice packs and car was real good come race time. I had made some minor changes thru heats and really got the car fast and easy to drive and feel there still is a little more yet left. I ran no standoffs and also added a 1.3mm front sway bar. Overall day 1 was very impressed with chassie and feel again BMI has something great to offer...

Default Ti colored T2 top deck?

Hi Jason, I picked up one of your carpet T2 chassis kits in the titanium color and was wondering if you possibly had another top-deck that I can buy? Also any plans on a matching battery strap.? This will be my third chassis from you starting from the xray 04 to the T2. Hands down you've got one of the best if not the best chassis' out right now-Thanks-Alvin
