1.3lbs and 1.2lbs? I can see 13lbs and 12lbs. But a 1.3lb spring would hardly hold the car up if at all.

it's probably spring wire size, not pound rating. Just my guess.

Default Can anyone tell me if you can run any kind of a motor...

wind scoop from the bottom of the chassis by ROAR rules? I was thinking....again... I see that the RDX, X-Ray, Schmacher chassis have cut out holes underneith the motor. I wondered if a guy could mill the holes at an angle to make lots of small wind scoops for motor cooling? I was just wondering.

Default HPI Pro4 BMI Chassis Setup

Anyone have a setup for ozite carpet stock racing using foam and/or rubber tires. I will be running the BMI 3.0mm chassis and upper deck. Any help would be VERY useful.

Stephen,

Just a couple of quick questions...

1) Are you running diffs front and rear?
2) What Wishbone/Wheelbase spacing are you using?

Cheers

I am using the IRS alu diffs and am running the front at 3/8 of a turn from fully tight. The rear is at 1/2 a turn from fully tight.
I am using the middle wheelbase spacing on the arms front and rear. I am using the short setting on the hub in the rear. Sorry I forgot about these lol

Tim Stamper is correct, its the spring wire size and not the pound rating. we use the high rated ones for Nitro 1.6-1.9 no one ever buys the low rated ones so i decided to open them and try it on my Mi2 it looks good coz the springs are a little smaller by length than the rayspeeds.
