paul,
glad you got it buddy.let me know if you have any questions.

and i would like to remind everyone.all aftermarket parts for any car i make kits for will be a direct bolt on to mt existing kits
okie doke, you got a date on the support and motor mount yet?

if its gonna be a while, i may have to stick the graphite chassis back on the TC4 until they are available (i'd rather not go through around 3 spurs a meeting )

anyway, i bought a new toy at the weekend...FK05 ...whats the stiffness of the BMI like compared to standard?

Whats the FK05 BMI kit retail at?

Default Jason, I hope you will make and sell...

CF shock towers, motor mount and a new upper deck as up grades. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a new upper deck, one that's lower and has keyed aluminum camber links.

it isn't twisting enough to see greatly with the naked eye..but its enough to hear the gears 'crunch'

the chassis should be reeeealy good with the new motor mount, and a centre stiffener (chassis flexed to much for my liking)..but i got so annoyed with it at the weekend (with the stripped spurs, don't think i hate you Jason ) i went and bought an FK05 (i had my eye on a new belt drive for aaaaaages though)

I three weeks of racing on mine I stripped one gear but it wasn't because of chassis flex but a cinder got into my spur and messed it up some. I still got another week on it before I had to change it.

Default I would like to see a 3mm TC4 chassis rather than..

stand offs, but that's just me. I hope the TC4 stuff will be here before the end of Sept.

seriously considering 350 chassis and towers for my original Xray T1.

what are the advantages of the chassis and the towers?

a 3mm chassis without standoffs might be as stiff as 2.5mm with standoffs but having standoffs allows you to remove them and make the chassis flex more, for tarmac or what ever, put them back in for carpet.

When I had my TC3 with the BMI conversion I had a 2mm top and bottom plate and thats what I ran on asphalt. When I did venture onto carpet I ran a 3mm toplate and the standard 2mm bottom plate.
