Does anyone know if the BMI 350 shock tower's camber link holes line up with the Xray Carpet Foam tower? Thanks!

Hi,

They are off just a little. but closer than the 4 hole tower you have now. wehavce found that the B.M.I. front shock tower works better on carpet.

Thanks

Thanks, Tim! I noticed that the BMI camber holes were about 1mm higher than the stock FK. I'm trying Josh's Nat setups, one setup at a time, so I can see the performance changes with each run. I wasn't sure if my BMI shock tower was close enough to his Xray foam tower. Thanks again for the info!

Kid:

Hi,

We are runing the split chassis setup on a 350 chassis with minor changes (mostly for stock and my son's driving style). the rear towers are also off a little. let me know what you are running (foams/traction compound/body, servo, etc) and what the bite is like and I will try to help you.

Thanks

All part of working out the bugs of a new car.......... The beating you recieved last week was with a good car that unfortunatly chewed up a thrust bearring , wich is why it acted like it had a spool in the rear all day. It has been blown out (cause there was nothing but dust and metal shavings left) And re assembled with a ceramic bearring. Next weekend you will see the reason you got THIRD was not because you were fast , it was because i had a major problem. Dont be too hard on your self when you see the reality of this past weekend. Just enjoy the moment of winning ..............(even if it was because i was drifting and still on your a$$)

Thats an easy one (N4S).....the smack talk......you know as well as I do, the racing is rarely that close at the club level, and we won't even bring up any of the state or regional races.......lets just say, relentless stompings

Its awesome......... Only one flaw so far , It chewed up the thrust bearring after 4 runs. I took apart an xray pro diff and the thrust bearring is identical . I have yet to play with set ups but right out of the box this thing turned faster lap times than i ever ran with the xray.
