Thanks Ray,

I think you can take those inserts out for the steering ackerman. As for Servo Mounts i will find some extras i got off my evo2. Thanks

Default BMI PRO4

Hi,

Im wondering do I need to add or remove spacers when converting from the stock pro4 chassis to the BMI chassis? Also which spacer do I remove?

Cheers,

Mossie

Hey Jason,

The chassis came yesterday and they are first class as always. The 3d cutouts were perfect-its sick how exact you make them.

Anyways-I'll call ya sooon about about them and give you a report from the track on friday.

There truly will be a TON of BMI cars here this weekend at the Gate. I know guys from NJ to FL to MS all bringing one or two BMI shod cars.

Also-there will be at least 3 -maybe 4 BMI 12th scales of different stages of prototyping being run too. I talked to one guy who confirmed about how true the rear axle is on the BMI 12th-it just spins forever. My L4-maybe 10 seconds with wheels!! SUCKS!!!

I hope someone has the time to upload each rounds qualifying and do pics as well as race reports. I'll try and stop in-but to be honest-dont count on it-from me that is.....

Thumbs up Split Chassis

I have driven both the BMI 350 and the staggered cell chassis and there is quite a difference. I got the staggered cell chassis from Jason because it felt more balanced. The 350 chassis seems to be heavy in the rear, and the two cars handle quite differently due to the battery location.

If you have the money, the staggered chassis would be a good thing to try!! Just my $.02

Here is the thread for the Omaha, NE race in November. Check out the pictures in the thread. It's a nice place to race.

I'm posting here to get some of you BMI speed deamons to sign up for this race. I'll post this on the Surge thread also since I'm also a Surge Team driver. Sorry for spamming a bit.
