Brian:

Hi,

Tell Dave I said Hi back......... Hows the staggered Xray chassis working on carpet?????????
no R/C this summer just Karts. Mini is getting faster with every race. All I need is more money to keep him that fast........ it's just like R/C something new you need to get, go and stay faster.

Thanks

you guys should have seen Jay run on sunday.....he started from a 6th place grid in the main(a tuff main I might add)he ran a perfectly smooth , consistant , super fast race, by far his best run ever.... I kinda had to look twice to see if he hadden't handed his radio over to another racer... I think he got 2nd or 3rd...not to sure what place you got Jay....I was too busy taking down the not so "easy up" canopy in a terrential downpour lightning storm....thanks budddy

Anyone have a asphalt rubber setup for a BMI TC3? I'm moving up from stock class using foams to 19 turn using Take-off CS27s. Track is a parking lot with some bumps. Any help will be appreciated.

Zach:

Sorry to hear that. I hope they can regroup and start up again.

Neil:

gee..... you are starting to sound like me. as of late I have been more confused than not. figuring out how to tune my son's new kart has me all mixed up. I'm to old to relearn basic suspension dynamics.........

Jason:

hondaguy,
barry baker's setup on AE's website is a perfect base set up to start with.any changes made would be minor.the car works great with that set up.also, run your batts in the front position.i found that to be a better position for me.hope this helps

I believe it. Things can change when you put a human being in a vehicle.

Neil:

After learning everything I know about suspension from Trams-am, Cam am, and SCCA racing (yes I'm THAT old) I get stuck with a race kart with no suspension (just frame flex) and scaling the kart after any BIG changes.
all of last years data went out the window when Jason's (my son) new kart showed up. (same size tube O.D. but a thinner wall) = more flex, more HP and a all graphite seat stiffens up the kart .
so far we are only 2 tenths off the current Nats Champ and thats a mile in karting.
I can't wait for indoors to start up again.

Thanks

Hondaguy:

Hi,

That's where always start when we run rubber onroad. about the only tweaking you'll need to do is to get it closer to your driving style.
