after alot of working with the 2 types of carbon fiber(colored and standard black)i found the black to be ever so slightly more stiff than the colored.it is extremely hard to tell the difference.if you get fine weave colored carbon fiber(not coarse weave)and have the carbon running in the right direction,it is extremely stiff.if you cut it against the grain(0 deg. layers)it flexes like mad.if you are not careful, you can make a messy ball of flex out of this thing.dont worry,i pay close attention to these details.hope that helps

Hey Jason, once again on sunday the BMI car ran as close to perfect as I could ask for.......this week their was alot of top end competition in pro-stock due to everyone preparing for the regionals comming up in mid december.....After some bad luck breaking a steering knuckle in one of the tripple A mains (giving me about 15 deg of tow out) I still managed to take an overall fourth place......I was turning alot of low 16 sec lap times and even managed a few 16.0's which is a tie for the single fastest lap ever to be run in the class..........so the car is pretty dialed in after only a few sundays of racing.......as you asked earlier ,I'll post some of my setups for asfault with rubber tires.............Joe B

Do we have a roster yet of the BMI representatives for the Cleveland race? Let those who will attend raise their hand.

I will not be in Cleveland First year being married, the wife won't let me slide this time. I will post the setup that I have been running on my milled out tub that I plan to run on my BMI. I'll get it up first thing in the am. Great for high bite fresh Ozite tracks. Should be good on the new chassis. Good luck to all. Especially all running BMI

Jeff,
You need to make sure your little side kick don't stay out drinking all night and ruin the chance to come down! LOL

See ya Sunday...

here is a sneak peak of what the upper brace is going to look like on the team kit.only difference is that the team kit is going to be titanium colored, not red.this is just a prototype.let me know what you think.
