I forgot to mention what the other chassis was going to be used for. An older gentleman purchased the chassis for his office desk piece (works of art and such :-). He paid me to build him what I can only describe as the ultimate TC3 dragster.
Here is the parts breakdown.
BMI chassis in blue
Waprspeed diff cases
Niff Tech diffs and outdrives
Niff Tech pillow ball drive shafts
Acer racing bearing set
Tobee Craft rear bearing cap
Tobee Craft gear adaptor
Tobee Craft stainless steel shafts front and rear
Tobee Craft delrin rear blocks
Robinson Racing titanium ball studs everywhere
Robinson Racing machined spur 72 (not sure this is strong enough)
Lunsford titanium turnbuckles
Lunsford titanium hinge pins
Hacker C40 7T brushless
Hacker Competition Brushless controller
Can you say ballistic? As much as I want to try this car out, I will have to refrain from even setting it on the track
Would hate to hit the back wall doing 35 mph with a TC3, I could not afford to replace this car.
