John very nice looking. Can't wait to see the car on Sunday.

Jason I will get to see John's car this weekend. I can hardly wait to see the car. I bet the Aqua looks great. Want to see what it looks like against my blue chassis.

Hey everyone,

I am one picky SOB and I think I pretty much tell it like it is and every BMI chassis thats rolled by my pit table has been superb, from Righters, Norton's, Marlon's, everyones-awesome!!! And the XRay' w/ the 3d cutouts is so trick.

I like the colors-but for me-I'll take natural CF as stiff as you can make it!!!

Heres another small difference with running a 3mm chassis-the batteries sit deeper in the chassis-move less and almost impossible for them to popout!! Its s small thing-but it does make a difference!! And since they sit deeper-you dont have to tighten your battery strap as tight.

Ray

not hitting the pipe helps too
just messin with ya.i agree, using the thicker c/f does help hold the batts in.it is also crazy stiff.but with the colors, its real hard to tell the difference when its cut in the right direction.there is a difference, standard is stiffer but man,the colors are rock solid too.

Jason if you made stuff that sucked then no one would care so much but since your stuff is so well done everyone wants you trick stuff and then you get another toy.

I'm just waiting for anthing in blue for my TC3 that you need tested or are selling. I have all the other stuff on mine and its ready. Hang I even have new bearings coming and some new IRS blue alum diffs. I bought this TC3 used a few months ago and nothing is left on it from when I bought it. Every piece is new and has been changed but the bearings

Yes, it was missing. The problem was that I traded my flexible evo 2 upper deck with a guy that had an orginal T1 solid upper deck and the ecentric bearing holder is not the same from the T1 to evo 2! I had to call a friend that had an extra evo 2 upper deck to get the eccentric bearing holder. It's all good now.

Jason - yes, very stiff. I'm just curious on the weight of the new chassis. It seems heavier than the stock xray evo 2 chassis. I noticed that there are areas where you can do more cutouts in the front part of the the chassis that shouldn't induce flex that much and the cutouts will help to lighten it up. I'll let you know how it performs this weekend.

Neil - nope, at SOCAL I had the evo 2 chassis. I just got this chassis two days ago. I will take it's maiden journey this sunday.

John
