Herminator- I would tray the cells down to .1 per cell then immediately charge after doing so. This will take all the residual charge out of the batteries. When they peak around 135 degrees you may then discharge them at 30 amps to a 5.4v cutoff. Then tray to .9 volts per cell as normal.

Stephen's right. Equalize and cycle first. They may feel soft for the first run on the track but they should be fine after that. The untouched packs, just build as normal. You may be surprised by them.

Yup, I had to do the same thing(took a break from racing during the fall when I was looking for more gainful, stable employment), so my packs had to sit for about that long, & after traying them, charging, discharging, & traying again they all started to wake up nicely, & are running fine now.....

Should these be ok if I just build and charge them as normal? They'll be used for practise packs, maybe racing packs if my others have degraded badly.
I would equalize or tray these babies before the first charge.

You always want to equalize brand new packs once they're built before your first charge.

At the moment, if you need to get a hold of Dan, the best thing would be to call him at the office.

Default I'm sorry

Hey guys, I'm so sorry, I've been swamped lately and have been running back and forth taking care of my father who is 90 years old. The guys at the office aren't helping me respond to emails therefore I lacked and I do apologize. We are STILL producing tons of awesome numbers and our CET have been slightly Upgraded to maximize zap against the newest generation of GPs.

Your emails have been replied and if you need anything further, please contact me or shoot me another email.

Btw, if you are in need of batteries quickly and since our website is still not up yet, please feel free to check out at www.speedtechrc.com for our products since they always have them in stock. Thanks.

Dan

Dan, I hope everything turns out well with your dad. As always, let me know if there's anything you need help with. I'm happy to do anything I can.
