Last weekend was the Northwest Carpet Championships at Stockton R/C Raceway. The race format is open practice on Friday, then a full race program with mains on sat, and another on Sunday. You accumulate points based on your finishing positions both days to determine the overall winners.
I ran 12th scale stock and modified. In stock I finished second on Sat and won the race on Sunday to win the overall championship for the second year in a row!!
In mod I finished third on Sat. and TQed and finished second on Sun. This put me in second place overall behind local fast guy Lex Tyler (Factory AE/Reedy).
My Fukuyama cells ran great! In stock I was running 8 month old sedan packs that I converted to 4 cell and they still had awesome power and runtime to spare.
Big thanks to Daniel and Fukuyama racing for providing such great batteries, I can't wait to try the new HQ cells!
Also thanks to Art Davenport (Advil) for tuning me a KILLER stock motor!
