Managed my best result for a while, qualified 4th in the A which was nothing special although competition was fierce tonight and finished 2nd, after holding off some very fast cars behind me, they struggled to get past when I had Fukuyama acceleration

Had another good day of racing today. Picked up a win in 19 turn today over a couple of guys I've never beat int he two years I've been racing with them. (Dave Smith and Jim Cooper for those of you who know them) Couldn't get the Losi to stop pushing so I played Russian Roulette and Pulled out the Tamiya that I'd never raced before for the main after only half a pack in practice. (Only run ever for it) and won the A.
How about anyone else that raced today?

There's truth behind every joking statement. I wish I had time to fo through every picture and worry about if the product shown is an advertiser but thats a waste of time and effort. Anytime you want to call about editorial stuff, feel free to give me a call. Any time you want to know about advertising I can give you information about our magazine and just about every other magazine out there. I'll give you the truth and then you can decide what you want to do with it.

Fukuyama powered BMI TC3 double win at New Zealands second largest meeting.
Hi guys,
Well I have just got back from the "Ultimate Open" which is New Zealand's second largest on road meeting. I ended up TQing both Touring Modified and also Super Touring (Touring modified using whatever bodyshell you like. Usually Can Am style bodyshells). I then set about winning both classes and setting new track records in both classes. It would have to be my best results ever in RC car racing and I have been racing for about 18 years. The track its self is very bumpy and the ashfelt surface is like sandpaper. I used the black BMI tc3 chassis and some new 1.16 Fukuyama cells with good run timeI got a few weeks ago. We race on foam tires here as well. The car was just great and I was approx 1/2 lap up on everybody else from the start. I ended up winning 8 out of my 12 races and the ones I didn't win were because of driver error or mechanical problems. I have attached a couple of photos of the winning car and body shells. The cells were really great. My thanks to everyone at Fukuyama for producing such great cells.
