Homer - sorry for the delay. I have been trying to setup hobby shops on the east coast with Fukuyama packs for a while now. Some have shown interest so I provided them with pricing but they have not placed any orders as of yet. I do not know any at the moment that carry Fukuyama packs. The best bet of now is to order packs off of Fukuyama website or SpeedTech RC also carrys the packs. Sorry there isn't anything closer. If I hear of anything, I'll pass it on to you.

I use the Trinity one with the fan. Not the new one, its probally a couple of years old.

I will not be using it again. Just discharge at 7 amps, let cool, and then charge again. I think the peak was at 8.9, 9.0 on the second and 3rd charge. Dont know if this is good or not, put the pack was on fire on Sunday. I think the orginal peak on the day was 9.1/9.2

Used in 19t qualifing and Stock A Main.

Actually we have also tested Putnum green and blue. Green also has a better lap time by 0.5-0.6s in our 16-17s track, however, it is good for 5 minutes race but we see obvious power curve drop at the end of 8 minutes race here. Maybe because of the excess heat generated.

So far the Fukuyama brushes last throughout the 8 minute run.

If I'm not mistaken that one does take them down to 0 and that is worse than not equalizing. Try tossing them into a Rayspeed once before the first charge of the day and see what it does. If I'm at the track you can come by and try mine.

Peak detect cut-off ( voltage threshold ):
We suggest a .05 ( 50 mv ) for 6 cell packs.
We suggest a .03 ( 30 mv ) for 4 cell packs.

Default chargers

i just ordered 3 packs of 1.165+ cells, and was wondering if a novak ionic charger would be ok to charge with?

im looking at getting a new charger soon, as the ionic's only really got an on/off sort of operation, no real settings as such.

just sorta wondering if i could harm the packs at all by using this charger, as it doesnt seem to have the adjustable delta peak type settings that i've seen mentioned throughout here.

thanks

Hi Jaybo, the answer I'm about to give you might not be what you want to hear so sorry in advance.

Yes, any charger being non-linear without delta peak will harm the new GP3300. It is suggested that you upgrade to a better charger. There are quite a few and ones that is capable of charging nimh would help you gain the advantage and allow you to better take care of your batteries. Good luck and let me know if you need any help. Thanks.

Dan

I personally like the Millenium Pro chargers from Novak. Charges my packs at the right peak everytime and never false peaked on me yet.

yea
the ionic is basically the mpro's baby brother, instead of having a nice little computerized menu to tell you all the settings, htere's just a few lights

according to this page it can charge linear though... so it might be ok.

it should do at least until i can get a new charger nstuff though
