Anybody had an opportunity to compare the 13.5's to the other brands out there? How does it stack up? Are you running any timing with it?

I ran the new version this weekend with Orion 3800 lipo pack in my cyclone. They seem very good and I wasn't giving up any speed by way of motor. I felt if someone was faster, it would have to be by driving or set up and that's the way I feel it should be. I've always heard that in general you want to leave the motor at 0 timing. Always adjust timing electronically so that the motor isn't introduced to mechanical timing which brings on all sorts of side affects including heat, loss of torque, etc. The only time you would move the timing ring is when you are between teeth for gearing, then one click mechanically at the most.

The car is almost ready for it's TQ run on Saturday. I heard music when I put the motor into the car.... Can't wait to run this motor. I already know what to expect from the batteries. Too bad Art won't be there with me so I can let him run my motor then go buy a few

But, I'll be there with my Orion 17.5 in GT10 lipo.

Got any trick parts for me? Do you have bearings for these puppies?
