edit: Doh! I should read more than the last 3 posts before replying. Matt already mentioned BC1

I've updated the firmware and had someone loosely set up the ESC so that the power was usable (at first it was all or nothing...something to do with the timing and boost settings I 'think').

Never drove or raced a 1/10th scale buggy before...had some issues with both qual heats (didn't finish either one) but ran decent (read as didn't stink totally) in the B Main and finished 5th of 7 racers (all of whom actually finished the race). Not bad for my first time EVER running in the class or driving one of the vehicles...at least by my estimation.

So far my gearing is 72/35 (I know Murf said 72/34 but I didn't have a 34 so I just went with what I did have)...I'm topping out too quickly...I'm sure it's just an ESC issue and Derek Lewis and Jason Burk have offered to help with the set-up. They were a bit preoccupied with their own vehicles tonight.

I gotta say...I love the look of the motor and it SOUNDS great...really quiet compared to the field. The motor spools up really fast and has plenty of 'gas' to make every obstacle, now if my DRIVING was a bit better so that I could drive away from some of those jumps...I'd be sitting on the podium in no time!
Paul Valenti,
Sent you the 17.5 Hotwire setup sheet on PM. Let me know when you'd like to get together and program your ESC, if you do not have the Hotwire. Very glad you like the Murfdogg Synergy Motor and cannot wait to see it with the programming installed.

I noticed that they don't have Murfdogg as an option for the design portion of the website. Too bad, cause I wouldnt' want a wrap w/o the Murfdogg logo on it personally!
UpGrade has the logo, and can include it in ANY wrap or decal package. Call and talk to Lauren... she is awesome and will set you up with whatever you need.... AND SHE IS A RACER! I am sure you will love her sweet little voice too. LOL. Sorry boys.. she is taken!

Most of us use Tekin but I would start with the motor timing at +5 and then add speedo timing little by little. Normally the synergy motors respond to less timing and more gear then other lines of motors. Hope this helps some, let us know what you came up with.
